The Blue Book is the basis for the conditions under which most of the world wool trade conducts its business. The rules contained in it are agreed between those who are involved in the buying and selling of the various wool-textile products.  The Blue Book incorporates the International Wool Textile Arbitration Agreement, used as a dispute settlement tool for conflicts arising between partners from different countries.

uIWTO Regulations: Edition 2007/087

uIWTO Electronic Data Transmission

The object is to create a standard method to communicate data in wool chain electronically all over the world from Wool Growers to Scourers & Carbonisers, Topmakers and Spinners to avoid a lot of manual data re-entry, speeding up procedures and reducing the back office costs and paper requirements.
The possibility exists to upload a standard data file which includes all the information for each bale purchased or sent to be processed.

uIWTO Database

The database is a compilation of reports, presented at IWTO Congresses from 1947 onwards. It was compiled by members of the Technology & Standardisation Committee and is available to all interested in the information contained therein.

Users can search by authors, title, year, conference place, and, for the period 1980-2001, by key words (in the fields "keywords" and "abstract").
