Published yearly the IWTO Market Information provides statistical coverage of all aspects of wool production, processing, manufacture and trade, essential to governments, analysts, traders and manufacturers alike.
The report includes updated statistics on world sheep numbers and wool production, production of other fibres, including other luxury animal fibres, cotton, synthetics and cellulosics, world wool and fibre prices, auction data from key producing countries, world spinning and weaving capacities, and global import and export data for raw wool, semi-processed wool, wool yarn, fabric and end products. This year’s report also includes a focus on world trade in wool clothing and interior textiles, with an analysis of the improvement in exports and imports for many of these products in 2010.
