Michael Lempriere elected as new IWTO President

At the annual IWTO Congress in Hobart, Australia, Michael Lempriere from Australia was elected as new President of IWTO. Also two new board members elected.

During the 74th Annual IWTO Congress held in Australia in the town of Hobart (Tasmania) from 18.04. to 23.04.2005, Michael Lempriere, Chairman of the Australian wool trading company Lempriere PTY Ltd, Melbourne, was elected new IWTO President. Michael Lempriere replaces Juan Casanovas whose term as IWTO President has finished in Hobart.

Next to the office of President, during the Congress have been also elections for a new Vice President and new board member. As Vice President Mr. Osman Kilic from Turkey, Executive Officer of the Turkish ORMO Group was elected.

Elected as new member of the IWTO Board was Jo Dawson from United Kingdom, from the H. Dawson Group in England..
