“IWTO and AWS announce new Information Service for Global Wool Industry”

IWTO and Australian Wool Services, the owner of The Woolmark Company, launches a new service providing market information and statistics for the global wool industry, providing an annual publication as a new tool to understand trends in the market.

 Brussels (18.04.2005)

In cooperation with the Market Intelligence Group of AWS, IWTO is launching its new “IWTO Market Information” with the first issue, the “Edition 2005”.

The mayor benefits are partitioned in different values:

n The publication contains separated data and information of the following textile market sectors:

= Apparel

=  Interior Textiles

= Technical Textiles

     n In each edition there will be Country Reports including a general country profile from relevant textile markets, perfect to identify established, booming or high potential markets.

n  A Competitive Section comparing the latest market data of different fibres

      n The statistic data of the IWTO Market Information are covering:

= Production Facts

= Retail Data

 

This new annual publication, which will be released in June every year, replaces the former IWTO Statistic Book

The ‘IWTO Market Information’ report will be available in electronic format; printed versions could be provided on request.
