1. REGISTRATION
Registration for our Wool Forum is online
via our website: www.iwto.org. Once you have submitted your
registration you will soon thereafter receive an email confirmation
with all the details you have entered – please double-check these are
correct and if any errors found please contact immediately :
meetings@iwto.org.
There is no registration fee for members and a charge of EUR 150,--
for invited non-members.
2. CONFERENCE FACILITIES
The conference sessions will take place in
the Città Studi in Biella. The necessary equipment for Powerpoint
Presentations will be provided for in the Main Auditorium.

3. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Delegates will be accommodated in the
following hotels:

Modern style, located in town centre, 10 minutes walk from Agora
ASTORIA****

Elegant and traditional style hotel, approximately 15 minutes walk to
town centre
AGATA**
Strada Fornace 6a
Small budget hotel where we are holding a few rooms located between
Città Studi and town centre.

Hotel room prices are as follows :
In the four-star hotels Agorà Palace,
Augustus and Astoria :
§ Single – EUR 89/night
§ Double – EUR 99/night
In the two-star hotel Agata :
§ Single – EUR 67/night
§ Double – EUR 74/night
There are also a number of suites available upon request.
Please note that these room rates are
including breakfast, hotel parking, coffee breaks, lunches at
conference venue and shuttle service.
For delegates not needing a hotel booking via IWTO, there will be a
charge of EUR 19 per day for coffee breaks, lunches, shuttles etc.
You should make your hotel choice when you register online and hotel
rooms will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis
according to availability – in case there is no availability at the
time of your registration, you will be allocated one of the other
hotels in the same category and price. There are a limited number of
rooms in each hotel, and your booking is only confirmed once your
payment has been received by us.
Whilst registering online you will be informed that you may pay by
credit card directly online, or by bank transfer. An invoice will be
sent to you by IWTO after receipt of your registration.
All hotel bookings and changes must be sent to IWTO Head Office as we
are handling this for the hotels. The above-mentioned hotel room rate
must be paid to IWTO and other incidental costs (telephone, minibar,
etc.) incurred during your stay are to be paid directly to the hotel
upon departure.
4. PROGRAMME

5. LUNCH/COFFEE BREAKS
For the convenience of IWTO delegates, lunch
and coffee breaks will be provided in the Città Studi on Saturday,
November 26th through to Tuesday, November 29th.
6. TRANSPORTATION
Airport Transfers
Airport transfers can be arranged through us
and this should be requested via the online registration. Malpensa
airport is located in the North of Milan and is the closest
international airport to Biella so we recommend you use this one.
Costs for airport transfers one-way to and
from Biella hotels are:
· Malpensa (+ 1 hour) EUR 90
· Linate airport (+ 1½ hours). EUR 110
You will be charged the full price for the
transfer but if you do share a car with other persons we will
reimburse you after the event.
For delegates travelling with spouse/partner we will assume you are
travelling together, please advise us if this is not the case.
If you have not booked your flights at
the time of completing the online registration, please mention TBC (to
be confirmed) and we will come back to you nearer the time in this
regard.
Public Transport from/to Airport
If you are interested in travelling by train to or from Biella, please
visit the following website:
http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html, but please note there are no
direct trains. You should select Biella S. Paolo railway station.
There is also a public bus service between Milan (city, not airport)
and Biella as follows:
Monday through Friday :
Leave Milan (Molino Dorino, MM1) at 12:30
hrs and 18:45 hrs – arrive in Biella respectively at 13:50 hrs. and
20:05 hrs.
Leave Biella (Viale Matteotti) at 06:30 hrs and 12:30 hrs – arrive in
Milan respectively at 07:50 hrs and 13:50 hrs.
On Saturdays :
Leaves Milan 17:00 hrs – arrival Biella
18:20 hrs
Leaves Biella 08:30 hrs - arrival in Milan at 09:50 hrs.
Shuttles in Biella
We will provide transportation morning and
evening between all hotels and the Città Studi and also for the
evening events. During the day, private taxis can be ordered and we
have requested that the taxi company has available enough drivers.
Private taxis will be at delegate’s own expense.
Private Car
If you plan to drive to Biella or rent a car
please kindly indicated this on the registration form to assist us in
planning number of shuttle buses we will be needing.
There is a large parking area at the Città Studi and at all IWTO
hotels (included in room rate cost).
7. EXHIBITION AREA
An area for commercial displays has been reserved for IWTO in the
coffee break/lunch area and you may book a space at the price of EUR
1.000,-- for the 4 days. The stand size is 6m² including standard
stall set-up with three sides and a table and 2 chairs. Please contact
the IWTO Head Office if you are interested.
8. SOCIAL
EVENTS/ACCOMPANYING PERSONS PROGRAMME
Evening events will be arranged and full
details will be sent to you later.
An excursion programme for accompanying persons will be arranged and
details will be sent later. If your spouse is interested please kindly
indicate this when registering.
