“Redesigning the future of the wool in
Argentina”

In her project the author placed herself in
the reality of the underdeveloped countries, especially Argentina, one
of the main wool producer countries. After investigating about textile
and wool industry, she identified the characteristics and properties of
wool to develop its advantages and disadvantages. In conclusion a
fashion plan has been created that takes into account the reality of the
industry and the possible innovations that it can bring. Through her
“Blue Mountain” the author has created a very interesting marketing
project.

“GuenGuel”
GuenGuel is a
familiar company based in Patagonia, Argentina, focusing on the
sustainable and foreseeable production of natural and organic special
fine fibres, especially Guacanaco fibre as a complement to Merino extra
fine and fine wools in order to cover the unsatisfied international
demand of specialised industry in the production of high quality threads
and garments related to differentiated segments of the market.
GuenGuel’s final
strategy is to try to move forward in the chain of value incorporating
the greatest technological level possible, under the most strict quality
standards in the levels of production and processing of raw material.
Through the
reference to the history of Patagonia and many ethnic patterns and signs
GuenGuel is creating original marketing concept attracting customers
interested in Patagonia.
