“Kila & Ilka”
|
Kila & Ilka has been made bearing in mind
the efficient use of material. Both are designed to minimalise the waste
of material in the process. The starting point was to use the same
amount of material, even sum of rows and stitches and create two
different solutions in the outlook.
Kila is made using a tubular knit. The woollen structure will be
finished to to perform as a pleasant , warm and intimate material. Ilka
is jacquard knitted straight tube. Its form is created by using elastic
material together with wool by shrinking and felting methods. The
results end up being opposite to others, positive and negative. At the
same time they are the same and they are different: Kila & Ilka.
